My other car is a bandwagon...

Straight from the beginning our declaration of independence (happy now detail fucks, and our constitution is a load of crap. First off, there is no real truth, and if they were self-evident then we wouldn't need a government to explain it to us, and we wouldn't need a government to make sure it's "upheld". All men being created equal is of course a joke. We may all be created, but I don't think the child being thrown in a dumpster, or living in a white trash neighborhood all his life, has the same opportunities and chances that someone on the upper west side growing up in a mansion. Not to mention that apparently, women don't exist in the eyes of our countries "founders". Now then, shall we continue?

Well, as said above, many children don't even get the chance to be alive, they're murdered by their parents and end up in dumpsters. (I'm not talking abortion here, I'm pro-choice). Even those that make it past the sanitation and waste companies usually have no opportunity for life, not my definition of life anyway, my definition includes not just being alive, but also having a life with quality in it.

Most people in this country walk around so dull, crass, and ignorant that they can hardly be considered alive, unless you think a carrot has a "life" because it's alive. I'm not saying the government is responsible for making my life happy, but if their going to promise it, I want them to deliver.

We're not in a state of freedom, we're just have more freedom then other countries, and that's even limited to certain areas. I don't have the power to do as I please, not with all the laws, and legal barricades, not to mention my responsibilities to make money, pay taxes, etc. If I'm arrested, I'll be physically restrained. With the amount of limited ability to express yourself, the amount of laws you have to abide by controlling what you do, what you say, how you act, and how you think, I hardly think that we don't have at least a quasi-arbitrary type government eh? And my choices are no only watched very closely, but are used against me.

As far as the pursuit of happiness. I work too much in order to pay my taxes, which a third of my paycheck goes to. I'm supporting my dog, two cats, and me, my girlfriend and I have a lot of bills, and with a third of our paychecks going to taxes it leaves very little for happiness. Although she makes me quite happy, the definition of happiness is as stated below: 2 a : a state of well-being and contentment : JOY b : a pleasurable or satisfying experience

Although I do have the above in small doses, the small amount of time I can spend with my girlfriend, most of my time is not spent in the pursuit of happiness, I have too much worry, too much responsibility, too much work, too many bills, too much everything. In a country set up to rob it's citizens of their hard earned money in order to puff up it's own expense account and waste the money fighting invisible enemies, how can any of us be happy, especially being fettered down with law in a country branded by the mockery of being free.

Now then, as our own Declaration of Independence states, we should be abolishing our current government by now, even though speaking out against the president is still against the law, our own law says that we should. Who's with me?

Below is something I wrote for a friend of mines magazine, it was written in a drunken stupor, and it's really shitty writing, but hey, I try. I didn't really express everything I wanted to say, and I know I forgot a lot of things, but whatever.

For the past year, like most "Americans", I've watched constant news coverage, seen special documentaries, listened to guest speakers give hour long speeches, and seen commercials for amazing new books, movies, and motivational tapes, all spiraling towards, and because of, one thing. September 11th, and I for one, was sick of it on Sept 12th of last year.

The first thing I would like to talk about is the attack itself. What was shocking to me, was not the attack itself, but the amount of surprise that we were attacked. American citizens pay absolutely no attention to it's foreign policy, and what it's countries leaders do in their name. Even if the government shouted on the news every move they made, Americans wouldn't pay attention, let alone do something about it, but with the amount of secrecy the government acts with, the chance of anyone caring, or getting involved is slim to none. This being said, in a country where it's leaders constantly interfere in other countries affairs, constantly boss and push around smaller and less defended countries like a high school bully, and basically become a nuisance, it's no wonder that we've pissed some people off. For those of us who have been paying attention to our countries actions, but have had little luck changing anything, we know that this attack is completely on the shoulders of ourselves, our own blind sided ignorance, and our leaders ego caused by being a world power. First off, we have been attacking them for years, we have also been lending out influence in order to solve solutions in the area, which of course benefit us the best. The idea that we pissed off a radical group of terrorists came as no surprise to me, and the idea of an attack was not only not surprising, but expected. If we as a people don't start taking charge in what the people who represent us choose as our opinion, days like September 11th, will happen more and more. We have to start minding our own god damn business, not a sticking our fingers in our years and humming kind of close minded outlook, but just minding our own when it comes to other countries holy/political wars.

So we've been attacked, ever since we have had a wave of mock patriotism. People with flags and flashy bumper stickers on their cars screaming about patriotism and being proud to be an american, right before they swerve into their fellow americans lane, without a turn signal, and proceed to flip him off, just like before. Nothing has changed, people are just hopping on the red, white, and blue, political bandwagon and going along like nice little sheep. Commercialism is at an all time high with new books, movies, dvds, documentaries, pins, buttons, posters, etc. trying to market on a tragedy. And at the same time our patriotism is at an all time high, we start attacking our own Islamic american citizens with racism and hatred for no reason. A friend of mine once commented that after september 11th in a jail church service for Islam, he overheard them cheering on the terrorists. My reply was, how many churches in america were screaming out the reverse against Afghanistan, even though about a half of a percent were responsible. It is a very small percent of islams that live in this country that would think the attack was a good thing. The others, hardworking, proud Americans with families, businesses, careers, houses, a dog, and a picket fence, are now being prejudiced and attacked for no other reason then they share a nationality. The same thing was happening as people screamed out propaganda about bombing Afghanistan, hell, bomb everyone they said, well for one, we have bombed many towns and villages of Afghanistan citizens, even though they have nothing do with the terrorists, killing women, children and men who were totally innocent, who had NOTHING to do with the terrorists (which represent about a half of a percent on the country), how does that make us any better? The only thing they did was not like us too much because we're underworked, lazy, fat, rich, ignorant, racist, americans with no view, or care on anything except for ourselves, and personally I agree.

It seems to me that the redneck hicks have taken over and started running the country, and who better to lead them in their racist war against everything that resembles islam, then George "dubya" Bush. Who now has decided that after pissing off terrorists and having them bomb us, and starting a war, the best next course of action would be to start another one. And why? Because a leader of a middle eastern country won't make himself completely defenseless. You ask the leader of Iraq, to make himself vulnerable to his other enemies in the middle of hostile territory, to leave his people open to attack by the entire middle east, to let inspectors, who were known for spying the last time they were there, back in to his country, and then are outraged and again, surprised that he would say no? And now, we will attack him for it. Starting a war with a middle east country because years ago he threatened your oil prices, which of course is the only reason we got involved. We're going to war with them, I say the countries in the middle east are going to get a tad tired of us meddling in their affairs, and come after us, not just the terrorist groups, but the country themselves, Iraq and their allies, nuclear capability can fit in a suitcase nowadays, we're opening up a hell of a lot of fucking trouble for ourselves, with the wrong people, for absolutely no reason then the media hype on the war on terror might die down if Dubya doesn't. That's what he thinks anyway, of course it never will, the media is as always milking this for as much as possible, showing at least something about 9-11 on every night on every channel, every-fucking-day, and probably will for the next few years. The media is making this seem like the end of the god damn world, and I'm sorry folks, but plain out it really isn't. thousands upon thousands of people in other countries, men, women, and children die every single day in other countries, nobody gives a shit, a daycare explodes, a shopping district is burnt to the ground, a homeless shelter is destroyed, people get executed in the street, suicide bombings, hunger, poverty, disease, all these things happen, nobody cares, a tenth of a tenth of the daily rate die in America, and we hear about like it's worse then the god damn holocaust. Personally, the amount of ignorance in this country and the hate it has spawned makes me sick to my fucking stomach.

America sucks.
